Advertising Works

One County. One Magazine.

There are numerous reasons to advertise in Living Jackson. In a nutshell, we provide our advertisers with the best bang for the buck by providing a competitive Cost Per Thousand in a high-quality publication with outstanding editorial. With more than 10,000 copies of each issue, we offer one of the highest circulations in Jackson and surrounding counties.
Here are the many and detailed reasons we are the very best advertising option around:

Target Market – Like your business, our target market is the Jackson County, Georgia, area: a rapidly growing and hard-to-reach market. We understand the ins and outs of the Northeast Georgia marketplace and put our knowledge to use when working with advertisers to create effective advertising campaigns!

Quality Distribution – Living Jackson’s monthly distribution is the best of both worlds. We provide our advertisers with both bulk circulation and single-copy subscriptions of more than 10,000 copies to homes, businesses, and local events; careful attention is placed on where each and every copy goes.

Quality & Quantity Editorial – We invest your advertising dollars in editorial that makes us a magazine to hold on to. Living Jackson combines the quality of a national publication with down-home content, making it the No. 1 choice for businesses seeking to reach buyers in this market. Living Jackson guarantees a minimum 50:50 editorial-to-advertising ratio, rarely even going as low as 60:40. Combined with its diverse and unique content, this gives Living Jackson wide appeal. It is treasured by Jackson County’s old timers and newcomers alike, and even men, infrequent readers of magazines such as Living Jackson, say they get drawn in, page after page, issue after issue!

Shelf Life – Living Jackson is a coffee table staple in many Jackson County homes. Many readers keep a library of their Living Jackson copies. This means we have long shelf life—and ads are seen over and over again, month after month.
Value-Added Services – Promoting your business is more than placing a print ad. At Living Jackson, we can become your partners in advertising by offering a variety of marketing and design services.

Professional Touches – The photographic and design experts at Living Jackson’s creative department create more than an ad for your business. Only photographs, colors, and fonts that represent your business accurately are used, and all of this is included in the price of your ad!

Community – By supporting Living Jackson magazine with advertising dollars, companies also support our local community. Living Jackson, both as a magazine and its individual staff members, is an active member of the community. We support the schools and youth. We provide free and discount ads to nonprofits. Individually, Living Jackson’s staff is involved in volunteer community efforts. By advertising in Living Jackson, you also support these groups!

Living Jackson reserves the right to reject any copy or illustration at any time that the publisher deems unsuitable for publication. All advertisements that resemble editorial content must carry the word “Advertisement” at the top of the ad. All advertising must have the complete name and information of the company, individual or organization paying for the ad.

Circulation/Distribution

Living Jackson’s monthly distribution includes both bulk circulation and single-copy mailings of more than 10,000 copies to homes, businesses and local events. After one year of publishing, the number of copies was increased by 20% and in the Fall of 2009, circulation was increased another 35%. No other publication in the area has provided that type of circulation increase – and at no additional charge to its advertisers. Furthermore, we reach the cream of the crop in Jackson County, meaning your ads are going into the hands of the buyers and the shoppers in and around the county.

Living Jackson offers advertisers the best of both worlds – both paid and free copies through single and bulk distribution. Paid subscribers receive the magazine at home or at their business, and complimentary copies are available for readers to pick up through more than 250 varied locations in and around the county, making it easily accessible.

We pay close personal attention to our distributors. We deliver the magazines in person, making sure they are not left outside of a business and that they are placed where consumers can find them. We carefully monitor the number of copies each distributor needs, adjusting the quantity to meet demand. We strive to achieve equal distribution across the county.

This means our copies do not go to waste – and your ad dollars are best utilized. With an impressive small average of only 3-5% copies picked up, we then take those copies to festivals and events as well as distribution locations that have requested back issues be available to their cusomers.

More detailed distribution details are available to our advertisers. Copies of printing and mailing receipts as well as lists of distributors and subscriber locations by ZIP code, are available for review upon request.
