Advertising Works

One County. One Magazine.

As the only magazine specifically serving Jackson County’s residents, consumers and visitors, Living Jackson provides advertisers with a unique method to target this fast-growing and hard-to-reach market. Living Jackson combines the quality of a national publication with down-home content, all at an affordable price, making it the No. 1 choice for businesses seeking to reach buyers in this market.

Now in our third year of publishing, Living Jackson quickly became a valued member of the county and an invaluable community resource for advertisers. After just one year, the number of copies published increased by 20 percent, yet advertising rates remained the same. In addition, the number of single-copy subscriptions continues to grow, a testament to the value Jackson County residents—and advertisers’ customers—place in Living Jackson. After just two years, the magazine changed to a monthly publication, due to reader and advertiser demand.

There are numerous reasons to advertise in Living Jackson. In a nutshell, we provide our advertisers with the best bang for their buck by providing a competitive Cost Per Thousand in a high-quality publication with outstanding editorial. Here are the reasons why we are the very best advertising option around:

Copies of printing and mailing receipts, lists of distributors and subscriber locations are available for review upon request to advertisers.

Circulation/Distribution

Living Jackson’s monthly distribution includes both bulk circulation and single-copy mailings of more than 6,000 copies to homes, businesses and local events; careful attention is placed on where each and every copy goes. Paid subscribers receive the magazine at home or at their business, and complimentary copies are available for readers to pick up through a number of varied locations throughout the county, making it easily accessible to readers.

We pay close personal attention to our distributors. We deliver the magazines in person, making sure they are never left outside of a business and that they are placed where consumers can find them. We carefully monitor the number of copies each distributor needs, adjusting the quantity to meet demand. We strive to achieve equal distribution across the county.

Originally planned to be a paid cover price publication, Living Jackson’s publishers quickly realized what a valuable community resource the magazine was, and opted for the best of both worlds. Single copy subscriptions are available to readers who want the magazine delivered to their door with the option of a paid subscription; properties, businesses and the Chamber of Commerce make complimentary copies available to their residents, customers and members. By also maintaining free bulk distribution, we are able to make the magazine easily accessible at community locations such as libraries, popular eating places and coffee shops, service locations and city halls.

We make our distribution details readily available to advertisers. Copies of printing and mailing receipts as well as lists of distributors and subscriber locations by ZIP code, are available for review upon request to advertisers and potential advertisers.
