Jackson County has a number of events to offer citizens right in their own backyard, and Living Jackson readers know to look here to find this information.

Make sure your community event doesn’t get left out! There is no charge to have your company’s or organization’s event
information published.

Tree Lighting in Nicholson
Nicholson will hold its annual tree lighting at the amphitheater in Nicholson Park, located behind City Hall. There will be music and hot chocolate and Santa will put in an appearance. 6:30 p.m.

Annual Photos Session
The Pendergrass Depot will host a photo session with Santa and families, children and pets are all welcome. No sitting fee and participants will receive one free photo (4” x 6”) of each picture taken.

Commerce Christmas Parade
Two to four marching bands, over 30 floats, five car clubs and several marching groups and civic organizations will take part in the parade. Following will be a concert of seasonal music in Spencer Park. 6-8 p.m.
